2nd
straight year! "Top 100 Supply Chain Company Recognition - 2002. "T.L. Ashford's Barcode400 labeling software for the iSeries and AS/400 was chosen as a Top 100 Supply Chain Company for 2002 by Frontline Solutions. The experts and readers based their selections on the following criteria: which companies did the best job of providing excellence and customer value to the supply chain. The criteria also included contract fulfillment and delivering an outstanding return to customers on their investment. In the turbulent year of 2002 in which many companies were tempted to cut costs and customer service, Ashford is especially proud of the customer satisfaction rating. Ashford is committed to 100% customer satisfaction and is proud to be recognized for achieving those goals again this year. |

RFID LABELING |
TL Ashford & Associates, creators of Barcode400, today
announces support for “smart labels” or Radio Frequency Identification
(RFID) Tags. TL Ashford is on the cutting edge of bar code software development
for the IBM iSeries and AS/400 midrange computers. The company is particularly
strong in the ever-changing market for compliance bar code software that
drives the supply chain.
Barcode400 allows “Smart Labels” to be encoded with data
from the iSeries system and printed to RFID thermal printers. “In
terms of generating the ‘Smart Labels,’ current users of
Barcode400 will find the implementation of RFID technology as simple
as adding new fields to an existing label format. Manufacturers and distributors are now able to meet Wal-Mart’s January 2005 deadline and other RFID tag requirements based on the Electronic Product Code (EPC) standards set forth by the UCC (Uniform Code Council) and EAN (European Article Numbering) International. “The Barcode400 Labeling Software RFID Tag Module is designed to accommodate emerging standards as other organizations, be it in the retail industry or the Department of Defense, set down compliance standards for RFID tag technology,” says Mike Ash, President of T.L. Ashford. To learn more about RFID Tags and the T.L. Ashford RFID Tag Module,
